Advertising & Promotional Work
I was asked to create a minimal but expressive
sign for the Confronting Guantanamo exhibit at Northeastern University. This exhibit is part of the Guantanamo Memory Public Project, with its contents available to universities and other institutions.
I had to balance the University's regulations regarding their logo while also achieving the desires of the exhibit coordinators. To convey the serious tone of the exhibit but also catch a passerby's eye I created a vector illustration to be placed within a confining layout that featured a bright orange.
Confronting Guantanamo
As a designer at The Boston Beer Company, one is responsible for 30-50 promotional orders a day. This slideshow features some typographic work on template posters which made up the bulk work, but it also showcases longer term projects.

There is the menu card in which the restaurant wanted a beach theme for Octoberfest, a Rebel Grapefruit window vinyl, a Curious Traveler Beer Co. tap magnet, promotional poster for new Samuel Adams products, a large scale Sam Seasonal banner, and in-house thank you cards for the Pennsylvania Brewery office.

Also featured is a couple of the first design mock-ups for a new initiative program, called Pour One Forward. I worked one-on-one with a member of the Legal team to develop the program and created the designs to be presented to the CEO and the national sales team.
